| Today is a wonderful day! My term paper is finished, our Survivor: Senior movie is finished (and awesome, if I might add), and my gurlfriend is on her way (and calling me right now!)!! I finished the term paper last night, and it is wonderful to have that burden lifted from my shoulders. Now I can focus on reading our last English book and get back to writing my book!!! Well, I'm going to go. I hope everyone is having a good spring break!

| Hooray
for
Spring
Break!!!
Today is the last day before Spring Break! My gurlfriend is coming up tonight; NOTHING could be better.
My church is having a senior dinner and it's theme is "Survivor!!!" How perfect is that? Brett and I have made a huge photostory that goes through through our lives; as Brett would say, it's going to be butt-sweet. We also have to make an audition video for the dinner, so Kaci, Kyle, Brett, and me are making ours together. We're going to make it like we're playing survivor. Galen is going to be Jeff Probst, it's going to be awesome. I can't wait!
Chamber this morning was good for a change. we have a bunch of concerts coming up.
College is getting closer...
Things are coming to an end...
I'm excited...

| School seems to be blowing by crazy fast now. Well, it's really seemed to go by fast all year. Term paper fever is effecting everyone at the moment. Just as most of the school is finishing their term papers, AP English is just getting started. I kind of like not being constantly patrolled this year. It's nice that we are on our own.....kind of....I don't have Chamber choir for the rest of this week, so I get to go in second hour the next few days. It is nice to be sleeping in. Also, I'm glad that the juniors have been testing because all the other classes slack off. I like it.....I've been announcing for the baseball games this year. I enjoy it a lot, and the players seem to like it as well. I think they like hearing the music before they come up to bat. Quiz Bowl is Saturday, and I'm not sure what to expect. I don't think our team will be very good, but it will be a fun experience, I'm sure. Well, I'm going to go to Brett's now for the first time in like a month.

| Well, I guess it's time to update again. It's been really hard lately to find time to update this thing, but I'll try. I sang for Mr. Irwin (the choir director at UCA) last Friday, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the Concert Choir next year!! He said I may have to try out for him again depending on if he hears some other good tenor ones that I may have to compete with. Hopefully that won't happen! I'm just so glad that it's over. Mr. Irwin was really nice, I liked him a lot.
I got to see my girlfriend this weekend, and that, of course, was great. My nephew's B-day is this Thursday, so she'll be coming up again!!
It's officially term paper season.....

| All-State, sadly, was a bit of a let down this year. The oncoming "storm of the century" forced us to have the concert on Friday instead of Saturday. We were rehearsing yesterday from 8:00 to 11:30, and a woman came in at 9:00 to tell us that we were going to have a concert at 12:00. Needless to say, everyone was kind of freaking out. We didn't even dress up for the concert; we just wore street clothes. The concert turned out to be somewhat of a fiasco for the Mixed Chorus. Our last song was horrible because everyone was going at their own tempo and not the director's tempo. I guess that's what happens when your rehearsal time gets cut a day early. I don't mean to complain, but it was really important to me and it ended up being a complete mess. I guess what is important to me sometimes isn't important to the rest of the world. Afterall, if we had stayed and got stuck in the ice storm, someone could have died. A great concert is not worth someone dying. It just sucks that the only winter storm we will probably have all year had to happen this weekend. Oh well, I did get a good deal on the CDs for the concert. Usually you have to buy a separate CD for each choir, but this year, all three choirs will be on one CD. I guess there can be something positive derived from the situation. Oh well, so goes life.
